Wiry gray leaves are handsome in early spring and fragrant canary-yellow flowers are held closely to stiff 3 foot stems in June and July - energetic! Don't deadhead but enjoy the round seed capsules. For a companion, either go very subtle for a foil or contrast with bright blue for an eye-popper.
